DESCRIPTION:This event has been cancelled.\nThe 2020 edition of ATALANTE – Nuclear chemistry for sustainable fuel cycles will take place in Montpellier (France)\, from 7-12 June 2020.  \nOrganised by the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA)\, the ATALANTE Conference provides an international forum for presentations and discussions on advances for future fuel cycles and waste management. Previous editions took place in Avignon (2000)\, Nîmes (2004) and Montpellier (2008\, 2012\, 2016). \n  \nSUBMIT YOUR ABSTRACT\nThe 2020 edition will include plenary\, technical and poster sessions. Technical sessions will include invited and contributed talks. Contributed talks will be limited to 20 minutes including discussion. Authors must submit abstracts and papers online before 15 December 2019. Abstracts must be limited to 2500 characters including spaces on one single page\, using a dedicated template. Oral and poster presentations are invited on subjects and issues that cover almost all the fields of the nuclear chemistry related to the nuclear fuel cycles: \n\nActinide and fission product chemistry\nUranium ore processing and purification\nActinide separation\nPyrochemistry and chemistry for molten salt reactor fuel cycle\nActinide material\nWaste conditioning and long-term evolution\nGeological repository nuclear chemistry\nSafeguards and analytical developments\n\n\nPROCEEDINGS\nA maximum of 100 abstracts will be selected by the Program Committee (Chairman: Stéphane Bourg\, CEA) for full paper submission. These full papers will be published in an online dedicated issue (AIP)\, well referenced in databases. These proceedings will be published by the end of December 2020. Full papers can only be accepted and published when at least one of the authors is registered to attend the conference. \n  \nKEY DATES\n\n15 December 2019: registration opens & deadline for abstract submission\n31 January 2020: notification to authors\n31 March 2020: end of early booking & draft paper submission\n31 May 2020: end of full paper submission\n31 June 2020: revised full papers\n\n\n\n\nCONFERENCE VENUE\n\nThe ATALANTE 2020 International Conference will be organised in the Corum de Montpellier. Located between the Rhône valley and the Pyrenees\, at only 10 minutes from the Mediterranean coast\, Montpellier is a millennium city in the heart of the southern wine-producing region. It has become a major commercial\, cultural and tourist hub\, and features an exceptional conference centre\, the Corum.\n\n\nREGISTRATION FEES\nNormal registration: 700€ (early registration 600€)\n\nStudent registration: 600€ (early registration 500€)\n\nConference dinner included. Accompanying person: 70€ for the dinner.\nParticipants are responsible for booking their own accommodations.
