SUMMARY:Second edition of the Radical Behaviour workshop (RB2018)
DESCRIPTION:The 2nd edition of the Radical Behaviour workshop (RB2018) will take place in Würzburg (Germany)\, from the 19th to the 20th of April 2018. \nFollowing the GENIORS project meeting\, this event is taking place in the framework of GENIORS and will be hosted by the Karlsruhe Institut für Technologie (KIT)\, one of the project’ partners. It is organised by Hitos Galán Montero (CIEMAT) and Christian Ekberg (Chalmers University of Technology).  \nRB2018 represents a great opportunity for international researchers in the field of radiation chemistry and nuclear cycle solvent extraction to exchange on their recent findings\, assess current experimental methodologies\, as well as to plan future experiments on the related domain. \n  \nKey topics of the RB 2018: \n\nFundamentals of radiolysis and degradation pathways\nRadiolysis of organic and aqueous systems\nModelling in radiation chemistry\nGas generation and safety issues\nMethods of delivering radiation to samples\nIrradiation experiments setup: how and why?\nEstimation of relevant doses and dose rates for different scenario\n\n\nContribution applications:\nThey are possible by email until the 12th of March: che@chalmers.se or hitos.galan@ciemat.es \n  \n\nAgenda:\nTentative agenda Radical Behavior 2018 \n\n  \n\n\nRegistration fees: 150€\nOff-line invoicing procedure: please register first (no costs invoiced by the online registration tool)\, you will then receive your badge.
