GENIORS presented in Orlando
From 11-15 November, Robin Taylor from NNL and GENIORS partner, attended the ANS Winter Meeting taking place in Orlando (USA). He gave a presentation on th UK recycle programme as part of a panel session which was titled “The first phase of a new UK national-level programme in recycle and waste management” and directly linked to the GENIORS project.
First INSPYRE school on Generation IV reactors fuel cycle

One year of GENIORS: achievements
Since the launch of the project in June 2017, work in Domain 1 – Process chemistry and modelling, has been successfully initiated. Within WP1 – Fission product behaviour, Sr(II) and Tc(VII) with a TODGA solvent have been studied. From 8-13 April Andreas Wilden, Doctor in Chemistry at the German Forschungszentrum Jülich and GENIORS partner, attended the International Conference on Methods and Applications of Radioanalytical Chemistry (MARC XI Conference) in Kailua-Kona (Hawaii, USA). GENIORS 2nd project meeting
The second GENIORS project meeting took place in Würzburg (Germany) from 17-18 April. GENIORS project kicks off
